ABOUT THE ROLE
This position is responsible for repair, maintenance, and installation of plant electrical equipment, and requires good working knowledge of NEC code, electrical standards, pressure and temperature transmitters, PLC’s, AC and DC drives, motors and their controls. The incumbent must be able to make estimates of material requirements and prepare requisitions and reports.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Evaluates every job for safety. Performs all tasks in a safe and efficient manner by observing safety regulations, rules and requirements at all times.
Maintain all electrical equipment according to code guidelines.
Troubleshoot electrical or instrumentation problems.
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on instrumentation and electrical equipment.
Install new instrumentation and electrical equipment to the standard of the national electrical code.
Maintain and updates electrical drawings and update other documentations as required.
Assists in maintaining plant housekeeping standards.
Promptly reports unusual circumstances, problems or difficulties to supervisor.
Operates and maintains all equipment within prevailing environmental requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements:
Previous masonry experience preferred. Willingness to participate in the training program as outlined in the PST progression guidelines in order to become proficient in the use of plant equipment.

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
