Controls Engineer - Bristol Babcock Specialization

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Controls Engineer for a position in the Scranton, PA area (within 60 miles) who specializes in Bristol Babcock PLCs and has experience in water/wastewater treatment processes.

Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience with Bristol Babcock PLCs

All versions of Control Wave Designer

Control Wave Micro, Control Wave and 33xx Series PLC's

Allen-Bradley PLC experience

Water/Wastewater experience

Minimum 5 Years

All aspects of Water/Wastewater, process and understands how to work with plant operators.

Troubleshooting Skills

Troubleshooting wiring in control panels

120vAC Systems, 12vDC/24vDC systems

4/20mA Analog Systems

Flow Meters

Pressure Transmitters

Transducer and Differential Pressure

HACH, Lovibond, and SWAN

Proficient with a Fluke Process Meter

Can read/comprehend Wiring Diagrams and Panel Drawings

Can perform redlines/as-builts in the field

At least 5 years of SCADA Experience; IFIX, Iconics Gen 32 and Gen 64, Ignition Vision and Ignition Perspective, Alarming and Notification, Reporting XLReporter

Experience in SCADA Networks; Basic IP Addressing, Basic Subnets, Gateways, and basic troubleshooting in networks, and an understanding of managed switches and basic tasks within

Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Personal Skills:

Strong Communication Skills with team leaders and customer teams.

Can work independently / Self Starter

Must be able to travel, mostly by car, to areas in Pennsylvania and occasional other states.
