Financial Analyst

Contract Position
$45.18-$56.72/Hour

Responsibilities:
Provide financial support for contracts and programs through development of resource forecasts, cost performance reports, and Estimates at Completion (EACs).
Analyze resource forecasts and EACs to identify and explain variances and trends to management.
Compile financial data from multiple systems to prepare summary performance reports and ensure accuracy in budget baselines.
Support earned value management (EVM) by developing and maintaining cost and schedule baselines and analyzing variances.
Prepare Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables such as Cost and Software Data Reporting (CSDR), Contract Funds Status Report (CFSR), and Cost Performance Report (CPR).
Manage and update CSPR/Cobra tables, funding statuses, and monitor cash flow and canceling funds risk.
Contribute to the development of business cases using financial analysis and modeling.
Support compliance with reporting requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams for continuous process improvement.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
Experience: Typically 6+ years of related work experience or a Master’s degree with 4+ years of experience.
Tools & Systems:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, advanced formulas), Word, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with CSPR/Cobra, IRE, and EAS systems
Core Competencies:
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
Experience in developing Estimates at Completion (EACs)
CDRL development and financial reporting experience
