Manufacturing Mechanic / Entry Level Welder

Atlantic Design, Inc is an established leader in the design of custom equipment for the blasting and coatings industry.

We are currently seeking Equipment Manufacturing Staff for our growing company in the Baltimore area.

This is a full time position with benefits.

Expectations / Qualifications: High School diploma or GED.

5+ years of manufacturing experience fabrication, MIG welding, equipment assembly, hydraulics, pneumatics, electronic controls and panels (24V 480V). Mechanical experience (engines blowers) a plus.

Must have a driver's license.

Must be able to read blueprints.

Experienced with laying out and fitting small to large fabrications per print specs.

Able to verify results by inspecting and documenting components.

Has an understanding of weld symbols.

Knowledgeable in mechanical inspection tools.

Knowledgeable of welding and fabrication mechanics in order to prevent distortion, meet critical dimensions, tolerances and provide strength.

Must be willing to work overtime.

Dependable with strong attention to detail.
