The 3 full-time optometrists provide comprehensive eye exams and the beautiful Optical Department showcases the latest styles of frames and lenses. The patients say this is a welcoming practice, giving personalized attention to meet their vision needs. There is a strong team environment, making an enjoyable place to work. SALARY BASED UPON EXPERIENCE

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Assist patients with frame and lens selections

Measure, fit, repair, adjust, inspect and dispense glasses

Accurately order eyeglasses and contacts, applying insurances where necessary

Communicate effectively with optical labs about orders and changes

Respectfully respond to patient questions and calls regarding glasses and contact lens orders

Meet with frame reps for the latest styles and information

Maintain the look of the Optical Department, including numerous optical displays

QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES

Attend to detail and multi-task

Use computers with confidence

Have the ability to interact positively and calmly with patients

Work well with and respect co-workers and doctors

Resolve issues in a calm and helpful manner

Be flexible and willing to assist others as needed
