This position is responsible for inspecting manufactured products in accordance with the applicable FDA regulatory requirements and company polices

- Visually inspecting and evaluating the quality of capsules and tablets according to established inspection procedures and product specifications

- Polishing and metal detecting capsules

- De-dusting and metal detecting tablets

- Completing all documentations associated with product inspections

- Cleaning and prepping inspection rooms, inspection belts, polishers, de-dusters and metal detectors between batch inspections

- Reporting inconsistencies, discrepancies or defects to the Lead Product Inspector

- Moving products to and from inspection room(s)

- Must be cross trained on running encapsulating and tabletting machines

- Reporting any safety, GMP or other violations to the Production Supervisor

Education & Experience

- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required for this position

- Must be able to speak, write, and communicate in English to perform necessary duties.

- Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) is required for this position.

- Must be able to complete BRC Product Inspector training

- Must demonstrate flexibility when re-prioritization is necessary

- Must be able to work overtime when the company deems it necessary

- Must be able to wear the necessary, job-related personal protective equipment
