Status: Full-Time (In-Office Only)
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday
Pay Schedule: Weekly Pay (Every Friday)
Job Summary
The Junior Recruiting Assistant provides key administrative, operational, and creative support to the Recruitment Manager. This in-office, full-time role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about recruitment and employee retention strategies. You will assist with the hiring process, candidate communications, and contribute ideas to improve the recruiting and retention experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Administrative & Email Communication
Draft and send professional email communications to candidates and hiring managers
Organize and maintain recruitment email correspondence
Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and hiring documents
2. Interview Scheduling & Candidate Support
Schedule interviews and coordinate meetings
Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process
Send interview confirmations, reminders, and rejections
3. Job Posting & Resume Screening
Post and maintain job ads across platforms (including ADP)
Screen resumes and pre-qualify applicants
Assist in sourcing through job boards and social platforms
4. Document Collection & Compliance
Assist in background checks, reference checks, and employment verification
Ensure accurate collection and filing of onboarding documents (I-9s, IDs, tax forms)
5. Onboarding & Training Support
Help assemble new hire paperwork and welcome packages
Support new hire orientations and training sessions
Ensure paperwork is complete prior to the first day of work
6. Reporting & Spreadsheet Creation
Maintain recruitment logs and generate reports
Use Excel or Google Sheets to track applicants, interview outcomes, and recruitment metrics
Organize hiring data and assist in trend analysis
7. Ideas for Recruitment & Retention
Offer suggestions and assist in implementing recruitment campaigns
Contribute to employee engagement and retention strategies
Help brainstorm ways to improve the candidate and employee experience

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor's preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and email platforms
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
