Job Description

We work (4) ten-hour days per week so that you can enjoy a three-day weekend every week! Work/Life balance is very important to us!

Hours:

· 2nd Shift; Monday - Thursday 3pm - 1am

Pay Rate:

· 2nd Shift - $17/hour + $0.60/hour shift premium

Duties:

· Set up saw machines

· Load tubes onto saws

· Operate saws

· Perform quality checks using tape measures, rulers, and micrometers

o Verify tube thicknesses and outside diameters

· Cross reference blueprint and shop order for material length specifications

· Receive in raw material against PO

· Utilize BPCS system

· Stock material in designated locations

· Visually recognize tubing type (SAE Spec, Seamless, VS Welded Etc.)

· Data entry

· Inventory control

· Work collaboratively to resolve any quality or process issues

Qualifications:

· Ability to execute shop order routing information

· Ability to pick from tube stock for direct shipment to customer using pick slip or from shop order

· Ability to check in process quality

Ability to safely operator overhead hoist

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

· Ability to set-up and run saw machines.

· Ability to record accurate measurements.

· Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.

· Good physical stamina and ability to lift tubes regularly.

· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
