Machine Operator

Direct Hire Opportunity from The Advance Group with a growing Manufacturing company in Monroe!

Currently looking for a skilled Machine Operator to fill a direct hire position with one of our companies in Monroe, MI. Interested candidates should have 1 year of previous machine operating experience and basic math and mechanical skills.

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator

Operate multiple ram extrusion machines

Cut, weigh and record product

Complete necessary paperwork Requirements of the Machine Operator

Candidates must have demonstrated work history; prior manufacturing experience is a plus.

Basic math skills, including a general understanding of fractions and decimals

Must be comfortable with using hand tools and measuring devices; tape measure, micrometers, calipers

Must be able to stand at length, walk, crouch, kneel and lift up to 50 lbs.

Must have flexible schedule Hours for Machine Operator

Second Shift- 3:15pm-11:30pm

May be required to train on First Shift- 7:15am-3:30pm (up to the first six weeks) Compensation and Benefits for the Machine Operator

Salary: $21.80hr

Low-cost Health Insurance upon hire

Double-time pay for working on Sunday
