Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded System Verification Engineer to join our dynamic team on a 6-month contract. As part of a three-year project, you will play a key role in verifying, testing, and supporting the development of embedded systems for a leading global truck manufacturer. This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of automotive innovation, contributing to the development of cutting-edge solutions for the commercial vehicle sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, design, and execute verification strategies for embedded systems to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Develop and implement test cases and scripts using automated test tools and frameworks.
Debug and troubleshoot embedded hardware/software issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Analyze automotive communication protocols, including CAN, LIN, and Ethernet, to ensure seamless system integration.
Contribute to the development and refinement of test environments for Embedded Linux and RTOS platforms.
Leverage your expertise in AUTOSAR to validate and optimize automotive software architectures.
Document test results, identify gaps, and provide recommendations to improve system quality and reliability.
Required Skills and Experience:
7+ years of experience in embedded system verification, testing, or development.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or Python for embedded systems.
Extensive experience with verification methodologies and automated test tools.
Strong understanding of embedded hardware/software interactions and debugging techniques.
Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
Solid knowledge of Embedded Linux, RTOS, and hardware platforms.
Hands-on experience with AUTOSAR and its application in embedded systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in the commercial vehicle or automotive industry.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative tools (e.g., Jira, Git).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional team environment.
