Global Automation Controls Engineer - Continuous Improvement

At Technimark we’re searching for a Global Automation Controls Engineer - Continuous Improvement to be a key player in advancing smart manufacturing across our global network. This is more than just a technical role — it’s a strategic opportunity to make an impact across our global platform. From new automation launches to improving existing systems, you’ll be the go-to expert supporting innovation, efficiency, and excellence at every turn.

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate globally to improve and standardize automation systems across our manufacturing sites.

Participate in design reviews and drive installation, debugging, and start-up for automation projects.

Lead cost-saving initiatives, drive down operational waste, and elevate performance through Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen principles.

Own continuous improvement initiatives from concept through implementation.

Partner with vendors, engineers, and local plant teams to upgrade and maintain equipment.

Support production launches, equipment transfers, and system upgrades around the world.

Travel internationally up to 50% to work onsite with teams and suppliers.

Desired Experience

Degree in Electrical Engineering (BS or Associate) or 5+ years of hands-on electrical experience.

3+ years of experience in automation, controls engineering, or maintenance/design.

Strong understanding of PLC programming, CAD, part/machine design, and injection molding.

Proven experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies in a manufacturing environment.

Confident communication and interpersonal skills — you're just as comfortable in the boardroom as on the factory floor.

Mechanical aptitude and project leadership experience.
