We are looking for a skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our Product and R&D team in a full-time role located in Forney, TX. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the test and validation of energy storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the installation and commissioning of advanced test equipment for battery energy storage applications.

Lead system integration efforts between lab equipment and Devices Under Test (DUT), ensuring seamless interoperability.

Develop detailed test plans and execute comprehensive testing protocols for both individual components and full system configurations.

Take ownership of data analysis and processing across all test platforms, transforming raw data into actionable insights.

Collaborate with internal engineering teams to review test results, identify trends, and recommend improvements.

Support instrumentation and calibration activities within the test cells to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Facilitate proactive identification, communication, and resolution of technical issues and project risks.

Apply hands-on engineering expertise to troubleshoot challenges at the component, subsystem, and full system levels.

Drive root cause analysis and resolution of issues using structured failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and other diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Power Conditioning Systems (PCS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), or grid integration technologies.

4–7 years of relevant industry experience in energy storage, power systems, or related high-voltage/industrial energy applications.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Power Systems Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with a passion for diving into technical challenges.

Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly convey technical findings and recommendations to both engineering and non-technical audiences.

Self-motivated, hands-on approach with a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
