Security Officers

We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Officers to join our clients team. The Security Officer will be responsible for protecting company property, employees, and visitors by maintaining a safe and secure environment. This includes monitoring premises, controlling access, and responding to incidents as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence.

Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems.

Control access at building entrances and vehicle gates.

Check credentials and authorize entry of employees, visitors, and vehicles.

Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activities.

Report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, or presence of unauthorized persons.

Write detailed incident reports and maintain security logs.

Assist in emergency situations including evacuations, medical emergencies, or fire drills.

Enforce rules and regulations to prevent violations.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security or law enforcement is a plus.

PSIRA Registration.

Proven experience as a security officer or relevant position.

Strong observational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a variety of environments and stand for long periods.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Valid security license or certification (depending on location and employer requirements).

Basic knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.

Preferred Attributes:

First Aid/CPR certification.

Familiarity with security systems and emergency response procedures.

Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.

Work Conditions:

May include shifts on nights, weekends, and holidays.

Both indoor and outdoor patrols, depending on the site.

Salaries are market related.
