#Hiring: Sr. Financial Analyst – Manufacturing

Location: Hampton, VA

Salary: $90,000 – $95,000 per year

Schedule: Full-time On-site

About the Role

Central Texas Recruiting is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst on behalf of a manufacturing client in Hampton, VA. In this role, you’ll work closely with plant and segment leadership to provide financial insights that drive operational and strategic decisions. This position is critical in linking financial results to performance metrics, improving processes, and supporting ongoing compliance efforts. You'll report directly to the IGT Plant Controller and work 100% on-site.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze financial data and link results to operational drivers

Lead spend-control initiatives and partner with department heads

Support monthly forecasting, annual planning, and P&L projections

Prepare and post journal entries; manage account reconciliations

Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and lead internal control testing

Develop and maintain Excel models for financial projects

Identify process inefficiencies and implement data-driven solutions

Deliver accurate performance tracking and business insights

Act as a trusted business partner to plant leadership

Ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

5+ years of finance/accounting experience in a manufacturing environment

Proficiency in MS Office, especially Advanced Excel

Experience with ERP systems (Hyperion, Oracle, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications:

CPA, CMA, MBA, or Qualified Accountant designation

U.S. Person status required (per ITAR regulations)

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
