We are seeking a Production Operator to work with us. We have a very competitive starting pay of $21.50, with an opportunity to be making up to $24.00 after the first year. The person in this role will tend to production processes in a safe and efficient manner to product high quality products. As an Ink Maker/Ink Tech, you will be responsible for:

Following batch instructions to weight batches, charge and mix inks

Understanding proper mixing procedures and raw materials

Monitoring temperature and mix speeds and adjusting as needed

Following procedures for milling inks, adjusting pump speeds and mill rates

Following procedures to filter, package and label inks

Making QC adjustments as instructed

Weighing quantities of raw materials for use in the manufacturing of high-quality printing ink

Operating one or more mixers in a safe and efficient manner to mix raw materials for the manufacturing of high-quality printing ink

Packaging the finished product

Operating a forkliftQualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent

Have previous manufacturing experience of at least 6 months

Have forklift experience

Be able to lift up to 50lbs

Have basic math, communications and mechanical skills

Be capable of managing multiple tasks

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:

Understanding of 5S workplace

Knowledge of TPM

Ability to work 10-hour shifts

Ability to work overtime and on weekends
