Main Purpose of Job:
Manage and maintain weighbridge activities. The primary objectives includes Safety day to day operation, efficients weighbridge management to ensure availability of neccesary items, enhancing operation efficiency by providing quick and timely access to weighing process, preventing shortages that could hinder bulk delivery process, ensuring compliance with safety standards in weighbridge operations, maintaining accurate records for reporting and analysis. Ensuring compliance with 5S in all activities at the workplace
Key Facts / Responsilibilites:
Comply & Implement Company Safety standard in all weighbridge area
Maintain and organize delivery plan, delivery manifest/site entry documents, queue card, and RFID card for weighing process
Keep the store area clean, well-organized, and easily accessible for efficient operations with compliance by 5S
Adhere to safety protocols and regulation for custom house
Provide regular reports on delivery status, including backlogs, queue card and RFID cards condition and quantity, and any other issues that may arise
Maintain the numbers of trucks in the parking area, on queue line, and inside smelter
Maintain the right trucks are entering the weighbridge by cross-checking the queue card displayed on the windshield of the truck with the numbers of queue in the system
Cross-check the weight recorded in weighbridge and the weight in SAP (for outbound copper trucks)
Manage the copper trucks and coordinate with outbound logistics if discrepancies happen
Manage if the weighbridge is down or there is truck breakdown inside the weighbridge
Manually operate the weighbridge if weighbridge is down
Protecting inventory from theft, damage, and unauthorized access requires implementing and maintaining robust security measures.
Able to handle unexpected events, such as equipment failure or urgent demands, required proactive planning and problem-solving skills
Keep the workplace clean and safe compliance with 5S and safety regulations
Requirements :
Vocational high school with experience 2 years in related field
Knowledge of weighbridge operations, computer operation such as spreadsheet, weighbridge software
Proven experience as a weighbridge operator
Experience in managing weighbridge queue management, spreadsheet operator
MS office especially MS Excel
