ECHO Incorporated is looking for a skilled Donuts Machine Operator to join our growing team. We are seeking a Machine Operator who will be responsible for managing the entire donut winding process, ensuring efficient operation, quality control, and proper handling of materials. The role includes equipment monitoring, maintaining safety and productivity standards throughout the shift.
1st Shift Monday-Thursday from 4:30am-3:00pm. Wage is $15.00/hour
2nd Shift Monday-Thursday from 3:00pm-1:30am. Wage is $15.00/hour plus .50 cent shift differential.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Regularly inspect and replace the trimmer line spool when necessary to ensure continuous operation.
Safely unwind any remaining trimmer line from the spool and dispose of it in the designated scrap barrel, adhering to company waste disposal guidelines.
Accurately fill clamshell containers from the gaylord, ensuring they are filled evenly from top to bottom.
Package each donut carefully, ensuring proper placement to avoid damage during storage and transportation.
Attach the correct labels to each packaged donut, verifying that all required product information is clearly correct.
Continuously monitor the donut winding machine for any malfunctions or irregularities.
Take immediate corrective action if the machine is not processing correctly or if production quality is compromised, following standard operating procedures.
Accurately weigh any trimmer line scrap produced during the shift.
Communicate the total scrap weight to the lead and ensure proper disposal.
Maintain open communication with the lead throughout the shift, especially if any operational or equipment issues arise.
Promptly report any malfunctions, safety hazards, or production delays to the lead to ensure minimal disruption to the workflow.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating the machinery to prevent accidents and injuries.
Keep the work area clean and organized, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
Capable of maneuvering and lifting 50 lbs. frequently
Standing and walking for long periods of time
Ability to often stoop, kneel or crouch.
Experience working in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and effectively as a team member, assisting shift lead and other employees in a positive and proactive manner.
