Delivery Driver

What you will be doing as a key player on our dynamic team:

Performs light duty deliveries, CDL not required.

Lifts skids of material from the truck to the branches without assistance.

Verifies the quantity and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing list.

Prepares a receiving report if none is available.

Loads and unloads delivery trucks with materials including general use electrical material, as well as copper and aluminum wire, and steel and PVC pipe.

Verifies correct material is loaded on truck before making deliveries.

Maintains products and materials on shelves, in racks or other designated storage

areas in an orderly manner.

Enters quantity received against the purchase order in the order management system and prints back order and inventory stock put away list.

Attaches identifying tag or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.

Assembles and fills orders to be shipped to customers.

Prepares shipping documentation as necessary.

Reviews all orders to determine if they were picked correctly.

Safely operates all the necessary warehouse equipment in work area.

Accurately identifies and counts stock materials as listed on the cycle count list.

General warehouse work, including picking, receiving, and auditing of general material may be required.

Work outside and stand for prolonged periods of time doing activities such as loading and unloading pipe and other bulk materials may be required.

Experience:

Must be able to drive a 26-foot box truck and flatbed truck.

2-5 years driving and delivery experience.

Warehouse and distribution experience preferred.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Able to move/lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted.

Able to push/pull up to 100 lbs. unassisted.

Able to drive 26-fott box truck and flatbed truck.

Able to withstand temperatures in typical warehouse environment.

Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time as a driver in a truck.

Ability to spend 50% of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED
