CNC Mill Machinist

Job Description

We are searching for a CNC Machinist Mill Setup/Operator for fabrication of small to medium precision parts. Our facilities are air conditioned and use modern fully tooled equipment.

Job responsibilities:

Operate and maintain CNC lathe and milling machines.

Review drawings, instructions, prints or samples to ensure accurate production.

Plan proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.

Select appropriate machine and settings for a given task.

Setup machine for first part.

Take accurate measurements during the cutting and shaping process.

Sand parts in to achieve very tight tolerances and surface finish.

Monitor production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary.

Maintain inventory of completed products.

Check output for quality assurance and document or discard defects.

Identify need for and perform machine maintenance and minor repairs.

Must maintain a safe and clean workstation.

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

To be Considered, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Must be able to read and understand G-code

Minimum 5 years experience with CNC Mills

Preferred experience with CNC Mill: 4 axis- Hurco VMX42i

Preferred experience with programming using GibbsCamCompany Description
