The Position:
We are looking for an experienced mechanical engineer to join our project management team. This person will listen closely, investigate thoroughly, and look at the big picture in working with clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for work that shows in designs, client interaction, and teamwork.
As a company, we identify all options and review the pros and cons to determine an optimal solution for our clients. We work collaboratively to find creative solutions that offer maximum benefit to the facility, its occupants, operators, and environment. Every project is approached from an energy efficiency standpoint, with attention to maintenance, utility cost, and upfront costs. Our responsibility is to provide right-sized solutions for the full project lifecycle that meet today's goals and address long-term needs.
Responsibilities:
Working with client stakeholders and internal project teams
Balancing multiple projects
Coordinating with all project stakeholders - architects, engineers, clients
Writing material specs
Create proposals, change orders, ad services, and help with overall business development
Providing load calculations and energy analysis on projects
Selecting and scheduling equipment for the project
Completing drawing packages for both mechanical and plumbing systems Requirements:
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
Currently holds Professional Engineer (PE)
5+ years of experience as an HVAC/plumbing mechanical engineer
Experience with new construction, re-engineering, and retrofit projects
Experience with construction administration and overall project management.
Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Revit, and load software (TRACE 700 and/or HAP)
Organization and communication skills

US Citizenship or Permanent Residency Salary + Benefits:
$124,000-$140,000 BOE
