Summary/Objective
A Project Architect & Quality Control Lead at WSA is an integral part of the success of our partnership model. This role balances two critical functions: leading the design and execution of projects while ensuring the quality and technical accuracy of construction documents. As a key liaison between clients, consultants, and internal teams, this role requires strong design sensibility, technical expertise, and the ability to guide projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator, ensuring both innovative design and high-quality project documentation.
Essential Functions

Lead project design development, technical documentation, and construction administration
Coordinate and communicate directly with clients, consultants, and project teams throughout the entirety of a project
Oversee the integration of various building components and ensure code compliance
Oversee quality control processes and ensure documentation accuracy
Perform quality control reviews and set standards for documentation deliverables
Lead internal design presentations and contribute to client meetings
Collaborate with Project and Design Managers to establish project goals and workflows
Mentor and provide guidance to Design Specialists
Stay informed on industry trends, building codes, and best practices
Facilitate cross-team collaboration to improve project efficiency and document quality

This position collaborates with Project and Design Managers and provides mentorship to Design Specialists.
Required Education and Experience
Professional degree from an NAAB-accredited university or equivalent experience
Registration/Licensure/Certification obtained
Experience using Revit, TwinMotion, Inscape, Illustrator, InDesign, and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications
Experience coordinating and leading project teams
Preferred Education and Experience
Experience in construction administration
Strong understanding of building codes and regulatory requirements
