Job Title: Printing Press Operator – Flexo Printing
Overview: We are looking for a skilled Flexo Press Operator to manage the operation of a flexographic printing press. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality output while meeting production goals and adhering to safety protocols. Key responsibilities include setting up and operating the press, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the production process runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and adjust a 16” - 20” flexographic press (Mark Andy models).
Install Anilox rollers, plates, inks, and dies, making adjustments to maintain print quality.
Alert supervisors when repairs or parts replacement is needed.
Ensure equipment is properly maintained and operates safely.
Follow specifications and documentation related to the printing process to meet quality standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required, with basic computer skills.
Ideal candidates should have 1-3 years of experience in flexographic printing or a related field.
Ability to follow instructions and perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Strong attendance, reliability, and flexibility, including willingness to work overtime when necessary.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
Must be able to stand, walk, carry, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 10 pounds regularly, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
Specific visual requirements include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
