Position Overview:

Soliant is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Social Worker in Johnson City, NY for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with students, families, and school staff to support social and emotional growth while making sure students receive the services they need to thrive.

Job Details:

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 32-35 hours per week

Caseload: Ages 5-21, traveling within the district

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ emotional and behavioral development

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Collect and analyze IEP goal data to monitor student progress

Conduct social histories and student assessments, writing reports as needed

Collaborate with IEP teams, school staff, and families to create and implement effective support plans

Advocate for students’ needs and connect them with appropriate community resources
