Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow Discovery Process Owner to lead and manage discovery initiatives across the organization. This role is critical in driving accurate IT asset and service identification, supporting effective data governance, and improving IT operations through ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Ownership: Lead and manage the ServiceNow discovery process, ensuring alignment with ITIL standards and organizational goals.

Tool Management: Configure, optimize, and maintain ServiceNow discovery tools to ensure accurate and complete asset/service detection.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, stakeholders, and vendors to capture requirements and implement improvements.

Data Governance: Maintain high standards for data quality, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and reliability of discovery data.

Reporting & Insights: Create and deliver regular performance reports and discovery trend analyses to senior leadership.

Training & Mentorship: Educate IT staff on discovery best practices and processes, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.

Compliance: Ensure all discovery processes adhere to internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Extensive hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery and IT asset management.

Strong understanding of the ITIL framework and IT service management practices.

Proven ability to manage and optimize discovery tools and associated technologies.

Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Experience working across cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in IT operations, asset management, or ServiceNow administration.
