### PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Titan of Life Leadership Internship offers a transformative experience for students passionate about mental health advocacy and leadership development. Inspired by Melvin L. Burks, President and CEO of Hamilton Center, Inc., this internship combines leadership training with innovative approaches to reducing mental health stigma.

### PROGRAM TRACKS

**ACADEMIC TRACK (COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY)**

- Duration: 10 weeks

- Time: 15 hours/week

- Includes: 2-Week Leadership Development Program

**COMMUNITY TRACK (HIGH SCHOOL)**

- Duration: 8 weeks

- Time: 10 hours/week

- Includes: 1-Week Leadership Immersion

**PROFESSIONAL TRACK**

- Duration: 12 weeks, flexible

- Time: 5-10 hours/week

- Includes: 4-Week Transformation Program

### CORE COMPONENTS

1. **LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT**

- Learn from Melvin Burks' protective leadership model

- Develop emotional intelligence and authentic leadership skills

- Master age-appropriate mental health vocabulary

2. **AUTOBIOGRAPHY PROMOTION**

- Create innovative strategies to promote "Titan of Life"

- Develop social media campaigns highlighting key teachings

- Organize focus groups modeled after the 200-student success

3. **COMMUNITY PROJECT**

- Implement a mental health awareness initiative

- Create resources for underserved populations

- Organize events promoting authentic conversations
