CAD Technician / Field Technician

As a Telecom Design/Field Technician, you will support various telecom engineering projects throughout the country and work on challenging projects to develop and expand your telecom understanding.
What are the core responsibilities for the role?
Design and draft Engineering projects in fiber optics and telecommunications
Design running lines
Plan set development which includes details, site plans, drainage, grading, and electrical drawings in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Prioritize work to meet various project requests and deadlines
Manage project data files from various sources
Be proactive and responsive in effectively communicating with colleagues and clients, both in-person and virtually/remotely Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:
1-3 years of related work experience
Associates Degree preferred. Additional schooling or training is a plus
Experience in AutoCAD/Civil 3D
Experience with Microstation
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings; ability to think 3-dimensionally.
Must be able to work independently with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks, with competing priorities
Be a professional, creative, team-focused individual that works well with others in a team environment
This position will have to distinct roles, 50% production line CAD drafter, 50% Field Technician
Skills: Cad drafting experience, Basic Construction knowledge, Ability to read a tape measure, Ability to read blueprints.
Detail oriented
