Title: Automation Design Engineer (Mechanical)

Salary Range: $85k - $100k (based on experience)

Job Duties:

Innovate automation design by developing custom systems that seamlessly integrate mechanical components, machinery, and tailored solutions to meet diverse client needs.

Lead all phases of automation projects, from planning and execution to monitoring and closure, ensuring the project stays within scope, on schedule, and within budget.

Collaborate with engineering teams, clients, and key stakeholders to define project requirements, technical specifications, and deliverables.

Conduct technical analysis, simulations, and testing to ensure system reliability, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and third-party services, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness throughout the project.

Work closely with manufacturing, electrical, and software teams to align mechanical designs with control systems and automation software.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Prepare detailed project documentation, including design drawings, technical reports, and user manuals to support project success and knowledge sharing.

Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues quickly to ensure steady progress and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.

Ensure all projects adhere to safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines, maintaining excellence in automation engineering.

Qualifications:

Bachelorâ s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 5 yearsâ experience in mechanical design, automation, or manufacturing engineering.
