Job Description
Join our team as a Guest Experiences Associate III at Winton Woods Campground! At Great Parks, our team members work together to preserve and protect natural resources and to provide outdoor recreation and education in order to enhance the quality of life for present and future generations.
This part-time position may work various shifts including, but not limited to, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
This position greets and serves guests at Winton Woods Campground which may include other Winton park facilities. The position includes cash handling and reservation responsibilities as well as providing outstanding customer service. Standard practice allows employee to perform job duties on a regular basis with questionable situations referred to a supervisor. Expectations include:
Performs job duties in accordance with Great Parks policies, procedures, and performance
Maintains confidentiality of confidential and sensitive information
Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and punctual attendance, and works outside of normal schedule as required
Is able to drive Great Parks vehicles
Greets and serves guests and handles guests' inquiries
Assists with set-up/tear-down and operation of special events in the campground
Prepares food and maintains clean and sanitary conditions
May be required to transport change orders, merchandise, food, mail, and supplies
Opens/Closes the facility in preparation of daily business and security at close
Assists with inventory of facility as needed
Operates point-of-sale system and reservation system; and handling cash box and cash register
Sells and monitors compliance of motor vehicle permits
Sells food and merchandise and maintains merchandise displays
Maintains cleanliness of facility including restrooms; and may include other housekeeping duties
This position also offers cross-training at other Winton facilities
Qualifications:
An appropriate combination of education, training, course work, and experience may qualify an applicant to demonstrate required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Great customer service experience preferred.
Has ability to demonstrate written and verbal communication skills.
Has basic math skills and computer skills.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to document identity and employment eligibility within three (3) days of original appointment as a condition of employment in compliance with Immigration Reform and Control Act requirements.
License of Certification Requirements:
State Motor Vehicle Operator's License that meets Great Parks' current carrier guidelines.
