Title: Process Controls Engineer

Location: Charlotte NC metro

Base Compensation: $100,000- $150,000

As the Senior Process Controls Engineer, you will:

Provide process control engineering and automation support to the manufacturing facility

Take ownership over the site's DCS systems (maintaining, troubleshooting and upgrading).

Develop and execute the maintenance related to systems automation to ensure that the facility is kept in an operational state.

Execute control system configuration and monitoring, and HMI design

Direct or assist capital engineering and process improvement projects.

Provide automation system and facility expertise with regulatory agencies on audits etc.

Apply engineering theory to establish root cause of equipment failures

Perform equipment performance evaluations

Required Skills/Abilities:

B.S in Electrical Engineering or Chemical Engineering - preferred

Minimum 3 years of experience with process controls engineering or maintenance

Paper & pulp/plastics, or chemical manufacturing experience

Knowledge of distributed control systems (DCS), Allen-Bradley PLCs, implementation and management of SCADA, HMIs, FactoryTalk
