Job Description

Now Hiring: TIG Welder – 1st Shift

Location: Largo, FL

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay: $20–$25/hour (Based on Experience)

Main Responsibilities:

TIG weld/fuse light gauge aluminum, stainless steel, and steel for sheet metal fabrication

Follow safety and quality standards set by FMS, Inc.

Read and interpret blueprints and customer/FMS drawings

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Assist with workflow, material handling, and paperwork

Support other departments as needed

Perform inspection of parts and use mechanical tools

Follow assigned production schedules and complete tasks on time

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Proficiency in welding/fusing light gauge materials (test required)

AWS D17.1 certification (preferred)

AWS D17.2 / D17.2M:2007 certification

Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality

Experience with blueprints, mechanical tools, and part inspection

Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED

U.S. Citizenship required

Reliable personal transportation (not on bus line)

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Manufacturing experience with ISO and AS9100 standards (preferred)

Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-minded

Dress Code:

Long pants, short or long-sleeved T-shirts, and closed-toe shoes
