Marine Licensing Officer

JOB DETAILS: DUTIES: Participating in formulation of policies and strategies intended to promote safety and efficiency of water transport; Licensing marine vessels; Supervising manning of vessels, qualifications and training of seafarers and issuance of relevant certificates related to manning of vessels; Assisting in planning, monitoring and evaluation of training programmes against any maritime conventions; Assisting in management of training, recruitment and welfare of seafarers; Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
