Volt is immediately hiring an Entry Level Material Handler for a Data Center in Maiden NC. Come join a leading Fortune 100 Information Systems and Technology company.

Qualified candidates must be comfortable using computers, learning new software, and working on their feet in a physical warehouse environment.

As a Material Handler you will:

Ensure all packaging such as cardboard and wraps are disposed of according to company policy

Assisting in shipping, receiving, storage and distribution activities for the Data Center to include unboxing and boxing/crating of data center equipment

Assisting in inventory control, cycle count programs, de-trashing and breaking down materials & keeping the facility clean and organized

Operate manual or electronic/motorized material handling equipment. This equipment can include pallet jacks and forklifts

Frequent use of computers, scanners, and mobile devices used in the shipping, receiving, and inventory processesMinimum Candidate Qualifications:

Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a semi regular basis

Able to stand and walk for most of your shift

Able to work in a team and independently as needed

Ability to pass pre-employment screenings

Basic computer skills - Basic typing skills and understanding how to use a computer; familiarization with Apple Pages, Numbers, Keynote and/or Microsoft Suite

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

Any experience working in these fields. Warehouse, material handling, or shipping/receiving.

Above average knowledge of computers and technology.Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour, Monday – Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
