Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and file federal, state, and local individual income tax returns (Form 1040).

- Prepare and file estate and trust income tax returns (Form 1041).

- File federal estate tax returns (Form 706) and gift tax returns (Form 709).

- Gather and review client information, maintaining clear communication.

- Verify the accuracy of returns prepared by other accountants.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of federal estate and gift tax laws.

- Proficiency in federal, state, and local income tax laws.

- Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel.

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- High attention to detail and proofreading abilities.

- Familiarity with UltraTax software.
