Job Description
We are in search of an IT Support Technician to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This role revolves around providing technical assistance to end-users and maintaining IT systems within our industry. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Address and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues faced by users
• Manage the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
• Oversee account setups, user access requests, and password resets
• Keep IT documentation updated, including user guides and troubleshooting steps
• Ensure prompt resolution of support tickets and escalate complex issues as required
• Conduct regular maintenance and updates on company systems
• Assist in managing IT asset inventory
• Communicate effectively with non-technical users and provide excellent customer service
• Aid in general conference support using platforms such as WebEx, Teams, and Zoom
• Help maintain endpoint security tools and deploy applications using enterprise tools
• Manage and improve scripts for automation and system management
• Oversee the process for operating system updates and patching.• Proficiency in Android Development
• Knowledge and experience with Cisco Technologies
• Familiarity with Citrix Technologies
• Proficient in using and troubleshooting Mac Computers
• Mastery of Microsoft software and tools
• Experience with Active Directory
• Ability to handle and troubleshoot Apple Devices
• Strong understanding of Computer Hardware
• Experience in Configuration Management
• Proven track record in managing Deployments
• Expertise in managing and troubleshooting O 365
• Familiarity with IQMS software
• Comfortable in using and troubleshooting WebEx
• Proficient in Hardware & Software Installation
• Strong understanding of computer Hardware
• Knowledge of Network management protocols
• Experience with Endpoint Security
