Job Description

We are in search of a Web Developer to join our team located in Dublin, Ohio. This role focuses on enhancing our biometric solutions platform, particularly in areas such as backend improvements, ticket resolutions, and unifying authentication systems. This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Work on application components to improve performance and stability.

• Address and manage existing tickets related to application components.

• Collaborate with the current developer for knowledge transfer and onboarding.

• Re-architect the authentication system to streamline user login across the platform.

• Maintain and enhance applications built on Electron and Windows Forms.

• Utilize AWS, MySQL, Docker, and containers for secure data storage and management.

• Ensure seamless integration between different system components to improve system coherence.

• Have the opportunity for ongoing work beyond the initial project phase.• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira is required

• Strong background in Backend Development is necessary

• Prior experience with Bug Tracking is crucial

• Skilled in Client Side Scripting

• Familiarity with Content Management System (CMS) is expected

• Competence in AB Testing is a must

• Agile Scrum methodology experience is required

• Knowledge of Ajax is beneficial

• Expertise in API Development is essential

• ASP.NET proficiency is a prerequisite
