Our client is actively seeking a Land Development, Project Engineer to join their land development practice based in Washington, District of Columbia.

In this role, you will take on a key position in the design and development of diverse land development projects. Become part of a collaborative, inclusive, and dynamic team where your expertise and leadership will help drive the future of our land development practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to senior staff in developing design and technical documentation across all phases of a project.

Contribute to site design for diverse land development projects using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Optimize design processes by leveraging the capabilities of Civil 3D software.

Assist in the preparation of construction documents and coordinate with internal teams to meet project deadlines, covering layout, grading, geometry, utilities, and stormwater management for commercial, institutional, infrastructure, and transportation projects.

Participate in planning studies and assist in drafting preliminary and final design plans, as well as permitting documents.

Aid in the development of erosion and sediment control plans that meet relevant state regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of experience within the land development/site civil engineering field.

A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

In possession of or obtaining E.I.T.

Experience in AutoCAD or Civil 3D.

Have a passion for collaboration throughout the design and execution of projects.
