MAU is hiring a Flexo Press Operator for our client in Dallas, TX. As a Flexo Press Operator, you will set up and operate the printing press to produce labels and related products. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Shift Information:

Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Monday – Thursday 4:00 PM to 2:30 PM

Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED

One to three years of related experience and/or training

Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted

Preferred Education and Experience:

Minimum of one year of flexographic printing press experience preferred

General Requirements:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals

Ability to read and interpret rulers, scales, and measurement devices

Essential Functions:

Read job orders and load dies into the press

Install and align print cylinders on the press

Fill ink pans, screens, and pumps with specified inks

Start the press and adjust speed and stock alignment

Engage print cylinders and adjust impressions as needed

Inspect approval strips for print imperfections and make adjustments

Clean plates, print cylinders, and dies

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance

Mix inks to maintain desired color and viscosity

Maintain clean and organized work areas

Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

Regularly required to stand; frequently required to walk

Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without mechanical assistance

Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
