Managing a team of technicians, inspectors and engineers (10 direct reports)
CMM understanding no programming necessary
Lead quality improvement to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce cost.
Train employees on quality procedures, standards and implementing process control measures for variability and defects.
Develop and maintaining comprehensive QMS and ISO9001 a must.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to identify quality issues and NCR's.
Collaborate with production teams to identify any quality risks.
50% customer interfacing, working with customers to discuss quality issues.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
Proven experience in quality management roles within a manufacturing environment.
Expertise in quality control methodologies, statistical process control (SPC), and data analysis.
Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations related to product quality.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a quality team and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
Certified Quality Manager or Certified Quality Engineer a plus.
Knowledge of GD&T a plus
