Control System Engineer

Job Title: Systems Design Engineer (control systems)

Job Location: Houston TX

W2 POSITION- (Looking candidates with Oil& Gas experience)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for performing system engineering for automation process control projects based on programmable controllers, drives, motor control centers. operator/field device, instrumentation, etc.

Responsible for analyzing customer's requirements to determine the optimal process control system solution and determines applicable control configuration/architecture

Responsible for conceptual process control systems deign, determination of process control system strategy, design of assembled programming

Responsible for on-site process control system start-up as required.

Responsible for applying codes and standards for industrial control systems including NEC, NFPA 72, 85, 86, IEC61511, IEC 61508, and UL508A.

Requirements:

OIL&GAS Industry Experience is required.

Experience: 4 - 20+ years

Strong knowledge of following products/protocols: Rockwell Automation FTView SE and ME, Studio 5000, ControlLogix, GuardLogix, CompactLogix, FTHistorian, ThinManager, PlantPAX.

DLR, ControlNet, Modbus TCP/RTU, OPC DA/UA, PRP.
