Summary:
This role will be part of our production team and support the production of key components in full wafer test solutions. This is a hands-on position and requires working with laser systems and metrology equipment. The Engineering Technician will be responsible for machining, inspecting, and cleaning parts used in our products.
Responsibilities:
Operate laser system and maintain work area around laser
Inspect machined parts using metrology equipment for quality issues and defects
Perform preventative maintenance and routine checks on equipment
Manage logs and records of production workflow
Troubleshoot surface-level problems with equipment and machinery
Ensure facility specifications for temperature, humidity, vacuum, and air pressure
Adhere to cleanroom requirements
Qualifications
Able to learn quickly
Good verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Thorough, attentive to detail, and accurate
Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Proficiency in the use of manual and visual inspection equipment; e.g. calipers, gauges, micrometers, digital indicators, and microscopes (Preferred)
Hands on experience with high-performance laser systems (Preferred)
Experience running a wafer prober
Basic CAD skills (SolidWorks/AutoCAD)
Knowledge of basic GD&T (tolerancing, datums, coordinate systems, etc)
Knowledge of basic electrical circuits
