Sourcing Manager

Position: Sourcing Manager

Location: Houston, Texas

Job Purpose:

The purpose of this job is to manage every stage of the sourcing & procurement process. The position will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement to final delivery

Roles and Responsibilities

Procurement and Supplier Management

· Coordinate with suppliers (ELX, NH3 licensor, etc.)

· Draft comprehensive list of T&Cs from contracts of different OEMs

· Assist in negotiating contracts and pricing with vendors

· Assist in managing supplier relationships to ensure quality and delivery timelines

· Assist in monitoring supplier performance and address any issues

· Managing relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality, timely delivery and compliance with terms of contracts

· Maintaining accurate records of activities, including tracking, measurement, reporting and analysis of performance data

Logistics and Transportation Management:

· Assist in planning and coordinating transportation routes and modes of shipment

· Select logistics providers and prepare comparative analysis

· Monitor shipment tracking and address any delivery delays

Cost Optimization

· Analyze supply chain data to identify cost-saving opportunities

· Suggest process improvements to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

· Develop and maintain detailed reports of supply chain metrics

Assist with other work required for a successful project execution or strategic development activities

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering

· Proven experience as a Sourcing Manager or similar role

· Strong problem-solving skills

· Excellent negotiation skills

· Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

· Proficient in MS Office and databases

· Certification in supply chain management is a plus

· Ability to learn quickly and to work both independently and as part of a team
