You would join a business who have created a cloud native, distributed fleet of Energy systems, that act as back-up battery solutions for when the antiquated grid fails. A B2C Solution that is extremely affordable, they have tripled the size of the team over the past two years, have over $60mil in funding and are adding several Platform Engineers to the team due to demand:

Working in the platform team gives you a wide variety of projects to work on week by week, but some ideas will be:

Designing & implementing backend services/APIs that process and analyze real-time energy data. (Golang/Python predominantly)

Automation first approach (Terraform)

Working with telemetry data, data pipelining, aggregation of data, data modelling, application development

Working across AWS & GCP

The business look for seasoned engineers with experience in building cloud infrastructure platforms, who are happy to work with GoLang (You don't need to know it already!). Important is you are passionate about contributing to modernising the worlds largest machine, improving efficiency via technology and want to work in a fast-paced environment.
