The Program

The F-35 Joint Strike Fighter provides RAAF an advanced capability and the aircraft is supported by complex, unique ICT infrastructure and mission systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

Committed to advancing global security and an ongoing commitment to improve our business functions, we are looking for a F35 Training Operations Support Manager to provide effective leadership to simulation technicians, system administrators, and ITC logistics and supply chain resources within the F35 Integrated Training Centre (ITC) located in Williamtown, NSW.

Your responsibilities will include:

Coordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition / disciplinary actions

Implementation of system support activities

Develop and sustaining positive relationships with all Training Operations Support stakeholders and act as the primary POC for any issues relating to the support of Training Systems

Provide direction to the program team and ensure milestones, products and services are of the highest quality, satisfying cost, schedule, regulatory compliance and program requirements

Manage work allocation for program assigned personnel

About you:

Essential

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Operations Maintenance, etc.) from a recognised institution, and/or significant relevant experience

Relevant management/leadership training and/or qualifications

Desirable

Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate multidisciplinary teams

Experience leading subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

Special Requirements:

Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
