Technical Lead

Job Description

ComResource is looking for a Technical Lead.

We need someone to assist in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting applications and IT products while providing technical leadership to the team.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of software applications aligned with business objectives.

Provide technical guidance to onshore and offshore teams, including contractors and full-time employees.

Define and document technical requirements for development, integration, and testing teams.

Collaborate with stakeholders to refine solutions and anticipate implementation challenges.

Ensure alignment on technical design, best practices, and system integration.

Deliver scalable and maintainable technical solutions that meet project requirements and deadlines.

Drive improvements in system stability, monitoring, and performance.

Define and implement API strategies for customer integrations.

Oversee code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure high-quality standards.

Provide technical analysis and estimates for business requirements.

Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, including production outages.

Lead integration, load, stress, and end-to-end testing processes.

Support project cutover planning and execution.

Manage Change Requests (CRs) and lead their implementation.

Work closely with the Solution Owner and Project Manager to align priorities and mitigate risks.

Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.

Essentials:

7+ years of experience in software development and technical leadership.

Expertise in front-end and back-end development, microservices, and API design.

Proficiency in Java, Node.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and BigQuery.

Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).

Strong understanding of agile methodologies and tools like Jira and GitHub.

Ability to handle production outages and drive problem resolution.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Experience in leading technical teams in a structured waterfall framework.

Desired:

Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka).

Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React and AngularJS.

Strong background in system integration and structured software development.

Agile certifications or relevant technical certifications.
