Job Summary:

We're looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) Trainer to join our education team. This role focuses on developing and delivering technical training in building automation, PLC systems, SCADA, sensors, relay logic, data center operations, and more.

We also welcome experienced tradespeople or field technicians who are passionate about mentoring others and looking to transition into a training role.

Responsibilities:

Assist with developing training materials and hands-on learning programs

Lead technical training sessions for employees, partners, and clients

Act as a go-to resource for knowledge in building automation, structured wiring, control systems, and installation best practices

Provide feedback on training outcomes and help continuously improve training processes

Collaborate with the Education Coordinator and Education Manager to align training with company goals

Help develop training manuals, guides, and reference materials

Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on experience in building automation, PLC systems, or data center operations

2+ years of experience training, mentoring, or leading others (formal or informal)

Strong communication and presentation skills

Comfortable translating technical knowledge into clear, engaging training

Team player with a passion for helping others learn and grow

Preferred:

Degree or certification in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

Certifications in instructional design or adult learning

Experience with e-learning platforms or digital training tools
