Job Title: Full-time Architectural Draftsperson

Salary: $100,000 plus superannuation

Duties and Skills:

• Developing detailed architectural drawings, plans and technical documentation using CAD software (AutoCAD) and ensure the precision and adherence to specific requirements

• Ensuring all designs and documents comply with Australian Standards, codes of practice and BCA/NCC, focusing on the unique demands of restoration

• Verifying measurements, resolve design issues and assess feasibility for project construction.

• Maintaing accurate documentation, registers of drawings and project records throughout all stages of the project

• Ccooridnating with the stakeholders as required and maintained the records

• Assisting in preparing cost estimates and project timelines by providing detailed drawings and material specifications

• Interpreting architectural drawings, analyse potential technical challenges, and address them early in the design process.

• Updating and revising existing drawings based on project changes, site conditions and client requests/requirements.

• Assisting in site inspections or surveys to collect data, verify conditions, or ensure design implementation aligns with plans.

• Monitoring changes to local planning schemes or regulatory requirements that might affect building design or compliance.

Job Requirements:

• Formal qualifications Construction or architectural design is mandatory

• Minimum of 1 years of experience

• Strong technical skills in design and drafting

• Proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem solving

• Strong work ethic with a commitment to high quality outputs

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Adaptability to changing project requirements and deadlines

• Ability to interpret and apply regulatory and compliance requirements
