Focus:
Interpret customer requirements to architect reliable, innovative avionics system designs.
Guide internal teams through systems integration and feasibility planning across cross-functional disciplines.
Lead technical discussions with external stakeholders, representing engineering scope and technical milestones.
Support system integration testing—both in-lab and in-aircraft—ensuring functionality meets specifications.
Develop, review, and validate wiring schematics and interface diagrams for new and modified architectures.
Author detailed design documentation, including block diagrams and technical data packages.
Evaluate system certification impact, focusing on human factors, compliance, and airworthiness requirements.
Collaborate on software/hardware development cycles for both new and legacy aerospace systems.
Recommend design improvements and streamline engineering processes based on real-world system feedback.
Understand and apply communication protocols like ARINC429, RS232, and RS422 across digital avionics platforms.
Provide installation and integration expertise across multiple aircraft types, including fixed and rotary-wing.
Skill Set:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Electrical, or related field).
3+ years of experience in avionics systems development, integration, or testing.
Demonstrated expertise in aircraft electrical systems, embedded avionics, or flight deck technologies.
Hands-on experience with systems-level documentation, architecture definition, and certification pathways.
Familiarity with military and commercial aviation environments (e.g., Part 23, 25, 27, or 29 platforms).
Comfortable leading technical discussions and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (minimum two-week trips).
U.S. work authorization required; must be eligible for access to export-controlled information.
