Hire Type: Onsite, Long-Term Contract

Target Pay Range: $60.00 - $80.00/hour (W2 with full employee benefits)

Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Automation Engineer with DeltaV experience to support our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining DeltaV automation systems to optimize production efficiency, reliability, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in automation engineering within GMP-regulated environments, with a strong emphasis on manufacturing operations.

Job Duties:

Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of DeltaV automation systems in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Provide technical expertise and leadership for automation projects, including system upgrades, expansions, and optimizations.

Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability.

Work closely with manufacturing, quality, IT, and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions.

Ensure all automation systems comply with GMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements.

Maintain and develop automation documentation, including user requirements, functional specifications, and validation protocols.

Train and mentor engineers and operations personnel on best practices for DeltaV system utilization and maintenance.

Qualifications:

Bachelorâ s or Masterâ s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

10+ years of experience in automation engineering, specifically focused on DeltaV systems within pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Extensive knowledge of GMP-regulated environments and automation compliance requirements.

Strong understanding of GMP, GAMP5, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and other relevant regulatory standards.

Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing DeltaV control strategies.

Strong background in system validation, data integrity, and cybersecurity best practices.

Ability to manage multiple automation projects in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
