Location: Alexandria, VA Norfolk, VA Kearneysville, WV Hybrid/Remote Eligible

Clearance: U.S. Citizenship required Public Trust or SECRET (based on task)

We are seeking a highly qualified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt (LSS MBB) to support the U.S. Coast Guard’s Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC) as part of the Business and Logistics Management Support Services (BL/MSS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA).

You’ll serve as a CPI thought leader—guiding enterprise-wide improvement projects, mentoring Green and Black Belts, and helping shape strategic execution.

Key Responsibilities

Mentor and certify LSS Green Belt and Black Belt candidates across government teams

Lead process improvement projects aligned with C5ISC and DHS performance objectives

Develop and deliver instructor-led training (Yellow, Green, and Black Belt level)

Facilitate CPI workshops, work sessions, and executive briefings

Support Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, and other methodologies across USCG operations

Collaborate with enterprise stakeholders on performance measurement, SOP development, and governance alignment

Provide strategic guidance to align process improvement efforts with enterprise maturity models

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, IT, Organizational Psychology, or related field

Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification (DoD or ASQ preferred)

8+ years of post-certification experience leading LSS improvement initiatives in federal or enterprise environments

Familiarity with USCG, DHS, or defense process improvement standards and policies

Preferred Skills

Certified Scrum Master and/or CMMI Associate (preferred or required by task)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)

Ability to lead workshops, conduct technical data analysis, and build high-impact training material

Strong communication skills and ability to interface with senior stakeholders
