Part-Time 2D Drafter (Draftperson)

Job Description

Salary: $30-$50 per hour DOE

This position will be with DLT Motors.

Applicant to work on a part time basis at home or in our office, by the drawing or job.

DLT can provide work space, desk, chair, ZW Cad software and appropriate computer

hardware. A laptop computer with software is available for Candidates who prefer to work at home.

Compensation based on demonstrable skill, education (High School thru PhD) and experience.

2D drawings will be of functional components not exceeding 18X18 inches

and be used by skilled tool makers, die makers, pattern makers, machinists and assemblers

to manufacture components for samples or prototypes as well as for production. The drawings

must also be suitable as the basis for Solidworks 3D if subsequently used for production

molds or patterns.

Candidate must be prepared to work from other drawings, sketches, pictures,

photographs, or verbal instructions in person, email or telephone.

DLT will provide material descriptions, finish detail and tolerances.

All drawings, sketches, pictures will remain property of DLT Motors.
